Person A: Hi! Could I get a medium latte, please?
Person B: Sure! Would you like that hot or iced?
Person A: Hot, please. And can I also get a chocolate croissant?
Person B: Of course! Your total is $7.50.
Person A: Here you go.
Person B: Thank you! Your order will be ready in just a moment.

2. Asking for Directions

Person A: Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to the nearest subway station?
Person B: Sure! Walk straight down this street and take the second right. The station will be on your left.
Person A: Great, thank you! How long will it take to get there?
Person B: About 5 minutes if you walk quickly.
Person A: Thanks again!

3. At the Grocery Store

Person A: Hi, do you have any avocados?
Person B: Yes, they’re in the produce section, right next to the tomatoes.
Person A: Thanks! Do you know if they’re ripe?
Person B: They’re mostly ripe, but if you want them to last a little longer, pick a firmer one.
Person A: Good tip, thanks!

4. At the Doctor's Office

Doctor: Hi, how can I help you today?
Patient: I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather lately, with a sore throat and cough.
Doctor: I see. Have you had a fever?
Patient: Yes, I’ve had a low fever for the past two days.
Doctor: Okay, I’ll take a look and check your temperature. Let’s see if we can figure out what’s going on.

5. Making Plans with a Friend

Person A: Hey, are you free this weekend?
Person B: I think so. What did you have in mind?
Person A: How about we go hiking on Saturday? I heard there’s a great trail nearby.
Person B: That sounds fun! What time?
Person A: Maybe around 9 AM?
Person B: Perfect! I’ll bring some snacks.
Person A: Awesome, I’ll see you then!

6. At a Restaurant

Waiter: Good evening! How many people are in your party?
Customer: Just two, please.
Waiter: Right this way. Would you like to sit by the window or closer to the kitchen?
Customer: By the window, please.
Waiter: Great! Here’s the menu. Can I get you something to drink while you look over it?
Customer: Yes, I’ll have a glass of water, please.
Waiter: Sure, I’ll be right back with that.

7. At the Airport

Passenger: Excuse me, where is Gate 12?
Airport Staff: It’s down the hall to the left, right next to the security checkpoint.
Passenger: Thank you! How much time do I have before boarding?
Airport Staff: You have about 30 minutes. I recommend heading over now.
Passenger: Thanks for the help!

8. At a Job Interview

Interviewer: Thank you for coming in today. Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Candidate: Sure! I have a background in marketing, and I’ve been working for the past three years as a digital marketing specialist.
Interviewer: That sounds great! What interests you about this position?
Candidate: I’m really excited about the opportunity to work with a team that values creativity and innovation. I think my skills in social media marketing would be a good fit for your company’s goals.

Customer: Hi, do you have this sweater in a size medium?
Sales Associate: Let me check for you… Yes, we have one left in medium.
Customer: Great! Can I try it on?
Sales Associate: Of course, the fitting rooms are right over ther.
